In 2013, ARRIS Group implemented Oracle PeopleSoft ERP to consolidate financial operations across the enterprise. The program focused on converting and integrating numerous business units from a newly acquired company that was running Oracle EBS into PeopleSoft 9.1 Financials, aligning transactional finance processes under a single ERP Financial instance.
The Oracle PeopleSoft ERP deployment emphasized ERP Financial capabilities, with configuration work on General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and cash and bank transaction management. Implementation activities included chart of accounts rationalization, configuration of financial dimensions and ledgers, and setup of standard PeopleSoft 9.1 financial business processes for month end and period close.
Data conversion and system-to-system integration were central to the project, with extraction and transformation of master data and transaction history from Oracle EBS into Oracle PeopleSoft 9.1 Financials. The effort consolidated vendor, customer, and GL master records and reconciled transactional mappings to ensure continuity of accounts payable and receivable workflows across the acquired business units.
Governance was driven from the VP of IT, Business Systems who hired a lead to manage the conversion and integration program, coordinating finance, accounting, and IT stakeholders. The rollout used staged cutover planning, testing cycles, and business unit‑level validation to align operational workflows and finance controls with the new PeopleSoft environment.

In 2022, ARRIS Group implemented Oracle Cloud HCM to centralize its Core HR capabilities and modernize HR processes across the communications company. ARRIS transitioned from Oracle PeopleSoft HCM after nearly two decades on that platform, positioning Oracle Cloud HCM as the primary Core HR system of record for global HR data.
The implementation delivered Core HR alongside a phased set of adjacent modules, with ARRIS already running Taleo since 2014 and Cloud for Goals, Performance and Compensation since 2015. In July 2022 ARRIS went live with Core HR, Benefits for the U.S., Payroll, Shell GL, EPM, Talent Management and Taleo, while subsequent phases were scoped to include Master Data Management, Finance, Supply Chain Planning, Procurement, Transportation and Trade Management, and Sales and Order Execution, followed by Professional Services, Warehouse Management, Manufacturing, and Technical Services, concluding with Tijuana Manufacturing.
Technical and operational integration planning focused on consolidating multiple systems of record and eliminating manual, disconnected electronic forms that required repetitive data entry. ARRIS documented and inventoried existing HR processes to redesign workflows from a clean slate, and the Oracle Cloud HCM deployment was intended to reduce reliance on disparate sources that previously fed over 25 custom downstream systems and processes, enabling a single vendor support model and tighter application-to-application interoperability.
Governance and rollout emphasized phased deployment and global process standardization, with centralized data processing and increased emphasis on data integrity as explicit objectives. The program restructured HR workflow ownership and process documentation to support the staged adoption of Oracle Cloud HCM and related modules, aligning HR, payroll, benefits, talent management, and finance planning under a common cloud platform.

In 2014, ARRIS Group deployed Microsoft Power BI as part of an Analytics and BI effort to centralize enterprise reporting and visualization. The Microsoft Power BI deployment was layered on an existing Microsoft SQL Server-based data warehouse and data mart architecture and integrated with the broader Microsoft BI stack.
Development concentrated on ETL and data modeling using SQL Server Integration Services, where SSIS packages in .DTSX format performed validation, extraction, transformation and load operations. T-SQL stored procedures, indexes, cursors and functions were created and performance tuned, and SSIS templates were designed to enable dynamic deployment into development, testing and production environments.
Reporting and visualization combined SQL Server Reporting Services with Microsoft Power BI to produce sub reports, matrix reports, charts and drill down reports, and to support on demand reporting via Report Builder and automated distribution to Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server. The implementation environment included Microsoft SQL Server 2014, 2012 and 2008 R2, SSDT, SSIS, SSAS and SSRS, plus Microsoft Excel and Visual Studio, all integrated into the Analytics and BI pipeline.
Governance covered user and role administration, creation of logins and permissions, view based access controls to protect PII, and custom error handling and logging within SSIS for operational monitoring. The team executed database migrations including a migration from SQL Server 2005 to SQL Server 2008 R2 and implemented SQL Server 2012 in development, test and production, while standardizing ETL deployment and server side T-SQL scripting to support release workflows.
