In 2008, Arteris implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as its core ERP Financial platform to centralize financial processing for the transportation business headquartered in Brazil. The SAP ERP ECC 6.0 deployment established a corporate financial backbone consistent with ERP Financial requirements and served accounting and finance functions across the organization.
The implementation of SAP ERP ECC 6.0 focused on standard financial management capabilities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets management, and financial close workflows, with configuration of chart of accounts and master data governance aligned to the company chart of accounts. Configuration work emphasized transactional integrity and period close controls typical for ERP Financial installations, and the project included template-driven process definitions for core accounting and statutory reporting.
A subsequent datacenter program associated with IBM ran from November 2016 to August 2017, during which IBM implemented SAP Hybris, SAP HANA, and supporting datacenter infrastructure for Arteris. IBM acted in a program management and delivery role with a team of approximately 23 people to provision and operationalize on-premises infrastructure hosting SAP applications and related middleware.
Project governance combined SAP-focused application controls with program-level oversight provided by IBM, including a defined program management office, phased rollout sequencing, and change control processes to coordinate finance and IT stakeholders. The deployment scope centered on enterprise financial operations, and documentation indicates the program model was used to align infrastructure provisioning with SAP application lifecycle requirements.

In 2019, Arteris implemented Tungsten TotalAgility (formerly Kofax TotalAgility) to underpin a newly created shared services center and centralize accounts payable operations. The Intelligent Document Processing deployment began with invoice processing automation and was explicitly extended to cover the entire accounts payable area as part of the SSC build out.
The implementation combined Tungsten TotalAgility with Kofax Insight and TR Process Smart Process Applications, delivering document capture, OCR and classification, data extraction and validation, and workflow orchestration consistent with Intelligent Document Processing capabilities. Configuration focused on automated invoice ingestion, rule based exception handling, and AP case management to support end to end accounts payable workflows.
Arteris worked with longstanding partner TR Process to design the smart process application and analytics platform, integrating TR Process Smart Process Applications with Kofax Insight to provide an operational analytics layer for the SSC. Operational scope concentrated on the finance function, specifically accounts payable, centralizing invoice processing activities within the shared services center.
Rollout proceeded from the initial invoice automation use case to a broader accounts payable coverage, building on several years of prior investment in Kofax and TR Process technology according to Arteris leadership. Governance emphasis was on aligning the SSC process flows and analytics with the new Intelligent Document Processing platform to support standardized AP operations.
