SAP Concur Invoice was positioned to handle both supplier invoice and employee expense flows within the SSC processing model. Operational coverage was concentrated in the Arup Shared Service Centre servicing bookkeeping, credit control, fees, costing and Accounts Payable for the UK-MEA region, consolidating transactional processing into a centralized AP Automation layer. The deployment model focused on central operations and process standardization rather than distributed departmental processing, aligning day to day processing to shared SSC procedures. Governance and workflow restructuring accompanied the rollout, with finance leadership driving process reengineering to align roles, approvals and reconciliations to the new SAP Concur Invoice processes. The implementation was documented as part of broader systems and process improvement initiatives under the Finance Manager responsible for the SSC.
