| SAP | Legacy | SAP S/4 HANA | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2017 | 2018 |
In 2017, Arvind implemented SAP S/4 HANA as an ERP Financial application. The engagement is recorded as a SAP S/4 HANA implementation with a working role as SAP FICO Management Consultant for Implementation for Arvind Limited, signaling a finance-led digitalization of core accounting and controlling capabilities.
The implementation centered on SAP FICO functional modules, including Financial Accounting and Controlling workflows. Workstreams included configuration of the chart of accounts, general ledger posting and period closing rules, accounts payable and accounts receivable transaction processing, asset accounting master data and depreciation posting, and cost center and internal order based controlling processes. These configurations were aligned to enterprise financial reporting and statutory accounting needs for the business functions within finance and controlling.
Architecturally the deployment used the SAP S/4 HANA application stack and associated SAP HANA in-memory database platform to consolidate transactional finance processes and ledgers. Project governance encompassed SAP change control and transport management, role based access and segregation of duties for finance users, master data governance for financial masters, and conventional cutover and training activities to embed new accounting and controlling workflows across Arvind’s finance organization.

| Darwinbox | Legacy | Darwinbox Core HR | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2019 | 2019 |
In 2019, Arvind implemented Darwinbox Core HR to centralize human capital management across Arvind Limited and Arvind Brands, covering more than 7,000 employees. The decision followed a vendor referral and a comparative evaluation, with the Darwinbox user interface and mobile app noted as decisive factors alongside the vendor team demonstrating strong ownership and acceptance of an aggressive six week delivery timeline.
The implementation centered on the Core HR module, with configuration focused on organizational structure, employee master data hygiene, and payroll readiness. Payroll was configured and prepared to move to autopilot from the January payroll cycle following the rollout, while mobile access was promoted as a mainstream HR channel to enable self-service. Over 60 employee fields received mandatory validations and unique job and department codes were introduced as part of the configuration in Darwinbox Core HR.
Darwinbox Core HR was integrated with ORAPPS to reconcile and refresh existing employee data, enabling a consolidated employee record and supporting analytics. The project introduced a unified HCM approach to replace multiple point systems, establishing a single source of truth for headcount and role definitions, and formalized manpower budgeting with multi-level approvals to support new plant growth across India.
Governance and rollout followed a phased reveal model, where product snippets were progressively exposed to users to gauge reaction and drive adoption, reducing the need for extensive formal training due to the product s intuitive design. Change management leveraged internal communications collateral including e-mails, posters and danglers, and the implementation included exhaustive process mapping and sign-offs to lock workflows and approval chains within the Core HR system.
Explicit outcomes included a redesigned organization architecture that reduced the number of departments to one third of the original count, establishment of a culture of HR self-service that lowered dependency on IT, and strong employee sentiment with 80 percent of employees voting in favor of the product in a survey. Analytics access was materially improved through standardized codes and cleaner master data, enabling easier leverage of critical organizational data for reporting and planning.

| Lectra | Legacy | Lectra TextileGenesis Platform | Blockchain Platform | Blockchain | n/a | 2022 | 2022 |
In 2022, Arvind implemented the Lectra TextileGenesis Platform, a Blockchain Platform to establish fiber to product traceability across its denim mill operations. The deployment targeted traceability for Arvind's sustainable product lines and used blockchain tokenization to anchor provenance to physical textile assets.
The Lectra TextileGenesis Platform implementation centered on tokenization and asset digitization capabilities, issuing Fibercoins to represent fiber, yarn, fabric and finished garments and maintaining immutable provenance records on a distributed ledger. Configuration work emphasized asset lifecycle records and trace event capture at supplier touchpoints, enabling end to end traceability and auditability consistent with Blockchain Platform functional patterns.
Operational coverage included Arvind Denim and the company’s sustainable ranges such as the single origin Renaissance collection of recycled cotton, polyester and other man made fibers, with visibility extended to upstream sustainable fiber providers and supply chain partners including Lenzing. The rollout impacted supply chain, sourcing and sustainability functions, and was positioned to provide product level track and trace details for customers and downstream partners.
Governance and rollout were phased to associate tokenized provenance with selected sustainable offerings, embedding full track and trace details into product records. The implementation aligned with Arvind’s broader sustainability initiatives including participation in the Ellen MacArthur Jeans Redesign project and Fashion For Good pilots, reinforcing traceability as a core sourcing and product governance practice.
