In 2014, Ascendo Resources deployed AkkenCloud ATS to centralize candidate management for its professional services recruiting practice. The implementation supported a recruiting organization that included an Executive IT Recruiter based in Atlanta and business development stakeholders, covering hires such as .Net developers, Business Analysts, UX Designers, Java developers, software sales executives, Big Data engineers, data scientists, help desk, and QA testers. Sourcing workflows combined manual outreach with searches on external job boards including Indeed, LinkedIn, and CareerBuilder, and included campus engagement at local technical colleges for entry and mid level talent.
AkkenCloud ATS functioned as the system of record for maintaining and organizing candidates, leveraging standard ATS capabilities such as a centralized candidate database, resume intake and parsing, job and requisition records, interview scheduling, and pipeline tracking. Recruiters documented contact activity and scheduled phone and face to face interviews within the AkkenCloud ATS, and coordinated Skype interviews for out of state candidates to align candidate status with open requisitions. The narrative explicitly notes use of the AkkenCloud ATS for candidate maintenance and organization.
Operational governance emphasized regular candidate touch points and coordination between recruiting and business development to shape sourcing plans and negotiate compensation and bill rates with candidates.
