Ashland Credit Union implemented Finastra UltraData Enterprise in 2021 as its core Credit Union Management platform. The deployment was driven by the IT Business Solutions Administrator and focused on establishing a centralized system for core account servicing and member transaction workflows consistent with Credit Union Management capabilities.
Finastra UltraData Enterprise was configured to interface with the credit union environment managed by the administrator, including DocuSign for signature workflows, MeridianLink and OpenClose for loan origination intake, and IDS for document pulling. The administrator used SQL queries for reporting and PowerShell scripting to automate routine maintenance and data tasks, supporting application orchestration and operational reporting tied to UltraData Enterprise.
The application stack was hosted on on-premises infrastructure running VMware vSphere with Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, and 2022 instances that house customer facing and back office services. Identity and collaboration were integrated with Microsoft 365 administrative services including Azure and Active Directory, Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint, while monitoring and ITSM were managed with SolarWinds and Change Gear ITSM respectively, and endpoint protection was provided via CrowdStrike.
Operational governance centered on a single IT Business Solutions Administrator responsible for project management, vendor communication, end-user support, and cross-system administration. Rollout and ongoing operations emphasized ticketed change control through Change Gear ITSM, vendor coordination for issue resolution, and scripted administration for consistent configuration and routine operational tasks.
