In 2013, Associated Grocers implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP to serve as the centralized finance backbone. The deployment established Oracle NetSuite ERP as the organization wide ERP Financial system for accounting, consolidation and transactional finance across the company with roughly 800 employees in the United States.
Configuration work concentrated on core financial modules, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, cash management and financial reporting. Order to cash, procure to pay and inventory valuation workflows were configured to feed financial transactions into the ledger and to support period close and reconciliation processes.
The implementation aligned transactional feeds from purchasing, distribution and warehouse operations into Oracle NetSuite ERP, ensuring inventory valuation and revenue flows were represented in the financial system. The project integrated TRICEPS with Vocollect voice technology for voice picking within the US region deployment, operationalizing hands free picking at the Baton Rouge DC and centralizing warehouse execution for store replenishment and invoicing. Reported outcomes from the deployment include a 63% reduction in mispicks and more accurate catch weight invoicing, alongside improved real time inventory updates.
