In 2018, ASX implemented Reward Gateway Employee Engagement as its Employee Engagement platform to centralize employee recognition, internal communications, and benefits administration. The initiative targeted HR and people operations workflows, providing a unified experience for recognition programs, employee communications campaigns, and wellbeing initiatives.
Reward Gateway Employee Engagement was configured with modular capabilities aligned to Employee Engagement best practices, including peer recognition workflows, reward marketplace catalog configuration, targeted communication channels, and program-level administration. ASX established HR as the system owner and maintained an internal SME model for day to day administration and stakeholder liaison, supporting configuration requests, campaign segmentation, and role based access controls.
The platform operated alongside SuccessFactors, HROnboard (ELMO), SharePoint and Chris21 within ASXs multi system HR stack, reflecting an interoperable ecosystem rather than a single monolithic HR application. Operational coverage included enterprise HR, internal communications, and employee network groups such as wellbeing and charity committees, with governance routed through HR led processes and committee input and the HR SME coordinating rollout and ongoing adoption activities.
