| Flare HR | Legacy | Flare Benefits | Benefits Administration | HCM | n/a | 2018 | 2018 | In 2018 Atlantic Group implemented Flare Benefits, a Benefits Administration application, to centralize onboarding data capture and employee rewards for its hospitality workforce. The decision addressed a staffing profile of 145 full time staff and more than 1100 casual workers annually, with a recurring onboarding surge of roughly 300 to 400 new hires concentrated in November and December. The deployment emphasized onboarding workflows and document management capabilities, including structured employee profile capture, digital storage of required paperwork, and enrollment workflows for benefit programs. Flare Benefits was used to maintain training and qualification records that tie to staff eligibility, and to present a rewards and benefits catalogue that frontline HR could reference during onboarding and ongoing engagement. Operational scope covered HR operations supporting venue and event staffing across Atlantic Group, with configuration focused on rapid intake and staged documentation checkpoints to cope with peak seasonal volumes. The platform reduced the manual handling of paperwork and preserved onboarding history for individual casual and permanent workers, enabling HR to prioritize day to day business while maintaining consistent data capture. Governance and process changes centered on standardizing the onboarding sequence and shifting routine document retention into the Flare Benefits application, creating repeatable workflows for new hires and returning casuals. The rewards and benefits functionality also provided a repeat engagement mechanism for HR, with staff uptake of benefits cited as a channel to reinforce training, culture fit, and ongoing communication. |
