In 2023, AtlantiCare implemented Oracle Cloud ERP as a central component of its Vision 2030 program. The ERP Financial instance is being deployed as part of a broader Oracle Health ecosystem that incorporates a new patient portal, EHR tooling upgrades, and the Oracle Clinical Digital Assistant, enabling coordinated data flows between clinical systems, revenue cycle tools and administrative domains.
Governance is organized into phased go-live waves across an initial 27 month rollout window within the six-year Vision 2030 timeline, with each wave scoped to specific KPIs for build, testing, training completion and tool utilization. In 2015 Atlanticare implemented eClinicalWorks Cloud EHR as its Electronic Health Record to consolidate ambulatory clinical documentation and physician practice workflows. The engagement included consulting services delivered by ECG MANAGEMENT CONSULTANTS, and covered planning, training, testing, implementation and post go live support for the vendor cloud offering.
The deployment emphasized eClinicalWorks Cloud EHR core ambulatory EHR capabilities and an upgrade path aligned to eClinicalWorks V10. Functional workstreams addressed patient engagement and regulatory modules, with explicit optimization of the patient portal, peer to peer P2P messaging, and configurations to support Stage 2 Meaningful Use requirements.
Architecturally the program used the eClinicalWorks Cloud EHR hosted model to centralize records and reduce on premise clinical application hosting, while implementation activities targeted alignment of charting and ordering workflows for hospital affiliated physician groups. ECG MANAGEMENT CONSULTANTS led planning and testing activities to validate clinical workflows and provide implementation support across practice sites.
Governance centered on project management oversight, structured training programs, and formal testing protocols to standardize documentation and clinician adoption. Consultant experience cited management of upgrades, training and contract negotiation advisory in related engagements, which informed the rollout approach and operational support model for Atlanticare.
