In 2000, Atul implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its core ERP Financial platform. The company operates Oracle12 EBS to centralize transactional finance and operational workflows across its manufacturing and distribution activities.
Implemented modules include Finance, OPM, Order Management, Purchase and Inventory, configured to support procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, inventory valuation and financial close processes. Oracle12.1.3 eAM Enterprise Asset Management was planned and provisioned as an extension of Oracle E-Business Suite to extend asset lifecycle and maintenance management into the ERP Financial environment.
PeopleSoft is retained for HR functionality, creating a coexistence model where human resources processes are handled outside of Oracle E-Business Suite while finance, procurement, order management, inventory and maintenance operate on EBS. Operational coverage therefore spans finance, procurement, operations, inventory control and maintenance teams within Atul Limited.
A core implementation team was formed to deliver Oracle12.1.3 eAM, with execution activities that included data collection, pumping master data, end-to-end eAM functional and cycle testing, end user training, go live and support. Enterprise Asset Management was successfully implemented on the Oracle EBS system on 13-May-2014 and is reported as working excellently.

In 2009 Atul implemented Oracle PeopleSoft HCM to manage Core HR functions across its India operations. The Oracle PeopleSoft HCM deployment was established to provide a centralized platform for workforce administration and payroll across Atul Ltd.
The technical stack included PeopleTools 8.49 and PeopleSoft HRMS 9.0 running on Oracle 10g and Oracle 11 database tiers, with Process Scheduler, Application Engine, Application Designer, PS Query, File Layout and Data Mover used for batch orchestration and bulk data operations. Functional modules configured included Core HRMS covering Workforce Administration, Global Payroll, Compensation, Position Management and e-performance, and customizations were implemented using PeopleCode, SQR and Data Mover.
Project work documented against the implementation included an Active Directory interface to synchronize directory attributes with Oracle PeopleSoft HCM and an Automation of Group Companies project to standardize HR processes across Atul group entities. Implementation activities emphasized data upload scripting, PeopleCode fixes for salary advance, loans and claims eligibility, LTA processing, and payslip SQR customizations to render corporate logo and display UAN and PPF numbers.
Governance and operational control were enforced through application-level customizations, scheduled Process Scheduler jobs and scripted data management using PS Query and Data Mover, with small specialist teams delivering targeted module configurations and maintenance. The program centered on extending Oracle PeopleSoft HCM core capabilities to meet payroll and HR rules through PeopleCode and SQR maintenance rather than large scale re architecture.

| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle Enterprise Asset Management | Enterprise Asset Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2014 | 2014 |
In 2014 Atul Limited implemented Oracle Enterprise Asset Management on its Oracle12 EBS platform. The implementation delivered Oracle Enterprise Asset Management functionality in the Enterprise Asset Management category within the existing Oracle EBS landscape. Atul was already running Oracle12 EBS modules for Finance, OPM, Order Management, Purchase and Inventory while PeopleSoft provided HR functionality.
The eAM rollout used Oracle Enterprise Asset Management 12.1.3 and focused on establishing the asset master, work order lifecycle, preventive maintenance scheduling, and spare parts linkage as core functional capabilities. Project activities explicitly included data collection, pumping master data into eAM, understanding and testing the complete eAM cycle, end user training, go live and post go-live support. A core project team was formed to own configuration, testing and training activities, with participation from maintenance and operations representatives.
Integration work concentrated on aligning Oracle Enterprise Asset Management transaction flows with the Oracle12 EBS Finance, Order Management, Purchase and Inventory modules to preserve procurement and cost accounting continuity. PeopleSoft continued to provide HR functionality for labor and skill data, while eAM handled maintenance execution and spares consumption. Operational coverage targeted maintenance and operations business functions across Atul Limited.
Governance emphasized master data validation, staged testing of end to end maintenance processes, and training-led user adoption prior to cutover. Oracle Enterprise Asset Management went live on 13 May 2014 on Atul Limited's Oracle EBS system and is reported as working excellently. Post go-live support processes were established to maintain asset lifecycle operations and sustain system stability.
