The Access Group Legacy Access Attache Accounts ERP Financial ERP n/a 2018 2018
In 2018, AUB Group implemented Access Attache Accounts as an ERP Financial application to centralize transactional accounting and reporting across its corporate finance and broker finance functions in Australia. Access Attache Accounts was positioned to handle day to day posting and month end control processes while supporting finance users who interact with broker finance teams and internal cost centres. The implementation configured core modules aligned to ERP Financial workflows, including general ledger posting through Attache GL, accounts receivable and daily cash receipting, debtor recovery ledgers, month end reconciliations, and recharge invoicing to brokers for group wide cost recovery. The deployment also supported payroll related workflows as a backup to the payroll function, with monthly payroll reports by cost centre, payroll tax calculations by state, payroll tax reconciliation journals, and annual leave and long service leave calculations recorded into the accounting ledgers. Compliance and statutory reporting capabilities were implemented for BAS and IAS preparation, FBT provision journaling, ABS forms and other periodic submissions on monthly, quarterly and annual cadences, plus half year and year end support for the corporate team. Operational use cases documented during the rollout show the Assistant Accountant performing invoice preparation for broker recharges, posting journals to Attache GL, coordinating monthly expense reconciliations, and entering investor presentation data, indicating tight alignment between system configuration and daily finance operations. Governance emphasized month end close controls and role level responsibilities, with the Assistant Accountant acting as a primary user for daily receipts and reconciliations and as backup for payroll processing and payroll related reconciliations. Workflows formalized included regular reconciliation cycles, statutory reporting timetables, and cross team interaction points between corporate finance, payroll and broker finance teams, ensuring the ERP Financial application was embedded into routine accounting and compliance practices.

In-House Applications Legacy In-House HCM Core HR HCM n/a 2015 2016
In 2015, AUB Group implemented an In-House HCM as its Core HR application. The deployment was driven by the Business Technology team in Sydney, a five person team that provides technology support to AUB Group's broker and underwriting network of nearly 50 businesses across Australia and New Zealand. The In-House HCM implementation emphasized Core HR capabilities including employee master data, organizational structure and position management, performance management, and compliance recordkeeping. Functional deliverables produced by the program included detailed requirements specifications, user manuals and templates, and comprehensive test scenarios to validate both functional and non-functional requirements. The rollout aligned HR process redesign with the internal Compliance Framework and was executed alongside existing broking systems such as CBS, Winbeat, eGlobal, and product platforms including L360 Sura Commercial and Placements to support HR workflows for brokers and underwriters. Collaboration across product managers, underwriters, brokers, vendors and development teams established requirements traceability between HR processes and the broader technology estate. Governance and delivery followed Agile project management with JIRA, with a Senior Business Analyst leading requirements elicitation, current and target process modeling for HR and the Compliance Framework, and authoring user acceptance test plans to secure end user sign-off. The Senior Business Analyst also managed root cause analysis for business as usual issues and coordinated defect remediation with development prior to releases.

Ebix Legacy eBix eGlobal Insurance ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2013 2013
In 2013 AUB Group implemented eBix eGlobal as part of its Insurance ERP portfolio to support broking, underwriting and policy administration across a network of 75 equity businesses and 310 locations serving more than 450,000 clients. The deployment was positioned inside an IT organization of roughly 25 staff with a business solutions team of seven, and the eBix eGlobal application was used alongside complementary solutions to operationalize quotes and policy lifecycle workflows. The implementation integrated the iClose insurance rating engine with eBix eGlobal to centralize premium calculation workflows. Functional modules and capabilities included quote creation, new policy issuance, endorsements, renewals and policy cancellations, together with discrete rating algorithm modules for Asset Protection, Business Income Protection, Crime Protection and Liability Protection. Work on the rating engine included reverse engineering Finity formulas and converting hard coded values into date-driven parameter tables to enable a table parameters driven rater used by brokers and underwriters. Operational integrations were documented to include eBix Webforms and the CBS Complete Broking System, with interfaces into existing J2EE and mainframe client server components that supported production activities. The program involved day to day production support for quote and policy transactions, liaison with brokers, underwriters and third party software providers to facilitate end to end operations, and the use of JIRA Agile for issue tracking and delivery coordination. Governance and rollout emphasized structured stakeholder workshops, formal requirement elicitation, impact analysis tied to change management, and the production of user and technical manuals. Testing discipline covered unit testing and BA testing with written test plans and test cases, and ongoing operational support included assistance to support teams for functionality released into production. The iClose rater and its integration with eBix eGlobal became the operational mechanism brokers and underwriters used to calculate premiums when entering quotes, new policies, endorsements, renewals and cancellations.
