In 2016 Audley Travel deployed Sage Intacct as its ERP Financial platform to support group finance and payroll planning, positioning Sage Intacct to centralize budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting for the organization. Audley Travel Sage Intacct ERP Financial was used to drive rolling reforecasting and annual budget setting across the finance function.
Sage Intacct was configured to deliver core financial workflows including general ledger controls, budgeting and planning, consolidated actual versus forecast and budget reporting, and automation of rolling reforecast processes. The implementation supported People and Payroll Planning modelling with explicit focus on staff capacity and costs including commission and bonus, and enabled ad hoc variance analysis and management reporting.
Operational data flows were consolidated from multiple systems identified during the engagement, including MS Dynamics AX, Journey Desk, Sage and Innact Financials, with payroll person and position extracts triangulated against ledger transactions to produce forward looking workforce cost scenarios. Governance centered on a centralized group finance process for reforecasting and annual budget cycles, and on data consolidation rules that combined payroll and ledger datasets for consistent planning and reporting across the Witney finance team.
