| SAP | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | SAP S/4 HANA | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2018 | 2019 |
In 2018 Aurizon implemented SAP S/4 HANA, converting from SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as part of a broader SAP landscape consolidation and platform refresh. The deployment was executed across mixed on premise and cloud footprints, including HANA Enterprise Cloud and planned Azure hosting, and included alternate landscape builds for ERP, BW, CRM, SRM, SCM, Portal and Web Dispatcher components.
The SAP S/4 HANA implementation targeted core finance and operational workflows typical of the ERP Financial category, with explicit technical workstreams for S4HANA conversion, Solution Manager 7.2 upgrade, and HANA Analytics. Functional and platform capabilities implemented included SAP Transportation Management on HANA, FIORI front end connected via SAP NetWeaver Gateway, HANA Analytics ingestion using SDI and SDA to SQL, and SAP Process Orchestration running on Sybase in cloud contexts.
Integration and operational coverage emphasized secure cross‑boundary connectivity, integrating on premise systems with SAP systems hosted in HANA Enterprise Cloud and configuring Web Dispatcher as a single point of entry with URL redirection and F5 traffic management. Authentication and access controls were configured across landscapes, including Single Sign On using Kerberos and SPNEGO for SAP GUI and NWBC, SAML authentication, and SSO for Business Objects reporting. System replication for SAP HANA was configured to provide disaster recovery and resilience across production and alternate landscape copies.
Operational governance was staffed under a Basis lead model responsible for both BAU support and project delivery, with tasks including environment builds, revision upgrades, disaster recovery testing, system monitoring in HEC, and liaison with SAP for cloud system maintenance. The implementation positioned Aurizon SAP S/4 HANA within the ERP Financial category to support finance, transactional ERP processes and integrated supply chain modules while consolidating platform management across on premise and cloud runtimes.

| PageUp | Legacy | PageUp ATS | Applicant Tracking System | HCM | n/a | 2019 | 2019 |
In 2019, Aurizon implemented PageUp ATS as its Applicant Tracking System. PageUp ATS is deployed on Aurizon's careers website to capture external applications and manage candidate lifecycle events at point of application.
The implementation centers on core Applicant Tracking System capabilities, including job posting management, candidate application intake, application workflow automation, and candidate tracking through screening and shortlisting stages. Configuration work emphasized configurable requisition workflows and role based access for recruiters and hiring managers to enforce consistent review and selection processes.
Operationally the PageUp ATS supports Aurizon's recruitment and talent acquisition teams, consolidating external applications from the public careers site into a single system of record. The deployment aligns applicant handling with corporate hiring practice terminology and provides a centralized interface for recruiter actions and candidate status updates.
Governance and rollout practices focused on standardizing application workflows and recruiter permissions, enabling consistent compliance with internal hiring policies and auditability of candidate decisions. PageUp ATS serves as the front end career site integration that institutionally organizes hiring activity for Aurizon's HR and recruitment functions.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP Enterprise Asset Management | Enterprise Asset Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017, Aurizon implemented SAP Enterprise Asset Management as part of the NAMS Tranche II program to consolidate CQCN asset records into a centralized SAP EAM repository. The deployment targeted the Central Queensland Coal Network assets Aurizon owns and manages, aligning the Enterprise Asset Management capability with maintenance and operational functions across the region.
The project included development of an EAM Data Migration LSMW toolset and construction of load templates used to populate SAP Enterprise Asset Management. Loading activities covered EAM object classes and incorporated technical reconciliation routines to validate record integrity during bulk ingest and initial system population.
Within the SAP landscape the delivery produced SAP Information Steward reports and SAP MDG processes to instrument data quality monitoring and master data governance for the asset register. Operational execution involved working with business teams in Queensland to conduct reconciliations and profile source data targeted for cleansing prior to system cutover.
Configuration work focused on asset master and technical object structures, scripted load automation and embedded technical reconciliation as part of the cutover sequence. The implementation centralized asset master data controls, established MDG driven governance workflows and implemented information stewardship capabilities to sustain Enterprise Asset Management data quality.
