In 2019 Autotechnics Gillingham implemented MAM Software Autowork Online, an Automotive ERP application provided by Kerridge Commercial Systems Limited. The deployment centered on workshop job management, quotation workflows and CRM-linked deferred work tracking for the 10 person garage in the United Kingdom, configured to centralize job records and quotation artifacts within the Automotive ERP environment.
A primary functional capability rolled out was the Deferred Work feature in MAM Software Autowork Online, which addressed the prior practice of producing multiple quotations not linked to an open job. Deferred Work enables staff to retain items to discuss with customers, and to produce CRM reports listing deferred items, then add deferred work directly to a new job when a customer returns. Operationally this changed quotation handling and customer follow up processes, and customers including Barry Blake from Autotechnics Gillingham reported the feature was easier to manage, flexible and useful to generate further work.
