| EmploymentHero | Legacy | EmploymentHero Payroll | Payroll | HCM | n/a | 2019 | 2019 | In 2019, BallyCara implemented EmploymentHero Payroll to centralize compensation processing for its aged care workforce, establishing EmploymentHero Payroll as the core Payroll application for the organisation. The deployment was positioned to support the Finance Team and a dedicated Payroll Officer responsible for end to end pay runs, reconciliations, and compliance with Fair Work and ATO requirements. The EmploymentHero Payroll implementation was configured to handle typical Payroll functional modules, including award interpretation for SCHADS, Nurses, and Modern Aged Care Awards, pay run scheduling, superannuation management, termination and redundancy calculations, manual pay adjustments, leave loading, salary packaging calculations up to specified caps, and standard payroll reporting. Configuration emphasized accurate award rules and pay item taxonomy to support complex payments and to reduce manual intervention during reconciliations. Operational coverage extended across Finance, HR, rostering, and frontline aged care teams, with the system set up to support rostering-driven pay inputs and training initiatives that improve payroll accuracy. The implementation acknowledged compatibility with ELMO HR Core and EmploymentHero rostering workflows as part of its operational design, and the Payroll application was instrumented to provide payroll advice and reporting to leaders and staff across the organisation, supporting payroll administration for 400 plus employees specified in operational requirements. Governance centered on a staffed Payroll Officer role within the Finance Team, with processes documented for award application, reconciliations, and exception handling, and with an emphasis on partnering with operational leaders. Rollout activities focused on user training, rostering alignment, and iterative process improvements to embed compliant payroll workflows into day to day operations. | |
