ProcessMaker Legacy ProcessMaker BPM Process Mining Analytics and BI n/a 2011 2011
In 2011, Banco Económico implemented ProcessMaker BPM as a Process Mining solution to automate and instrument its end to end credit and loan workflows. Banco Económico retained ProcessMaker professional services to model the bank’s credit process and to execute a jointly authored Statement of Work covering application intake through disbursement, ensuring the project timeline and scope were defined by bank stakeholders and ProcessMaker consultants. The ProcessMaker BPM deployment delivered modeled flows for application, review and approval, registration, and disbursement, and included electronic forms for credit applications designed to match the bank’s existing paper forms to preserve regulatory compliance. ProcessMaker BPM was configured to generate role based tasks, automated routing for approvals, and the report and alert capabilities used during startup to surface status and exception conditions to operational users. Integration work included a secure web services connection between ProcessMaker and the bank’s back end system, referred to in project documentation as the SFI and also described as the bank’s Integrated Financial System IFS, using the ProcessMaker Web Services API. This integration enabled two way exchange of customer and transaction data so information obtained and generated in ProcessMaker BPM is recorded in the IFS, and data from the IFS is dynamically consumed within the automated credit workflows, operating transparently to users. Governance and rollout were structured around the SOW, with a hybrid implementation team composed of ProcessMaker and Banco Económico professionals, and with the bank’s legal team validating contract printing and presentation formats. ProcessMaker also developed numerous operational reports that were critical in the startup phase, and the automated process included automatic alerts for delays or special conditions to support operational oversight.
