In 2019 Airport Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Ltd implemented IFS ERP, deploying IFS Applications 10 as its ERP backbone for Finance, Supply Chain, Payroll and Maintenance. The deployment is categorized as ERP Financial and was selected after a comprehensive evaluation for its versatility and ability to manage core processes within a single, integrated platform. IFS Applications 10 was configured to support Finance, Supply Chain Management, Payroll processing and Maintenance Management functional modules, providing real-time process visibility and improved information accuracy. Configuration covered standard ERP Financial workflows including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, procurement-to-pay, inventory control, payroll calculation and maintenance planning and scheduling to align operational processes with aviation sector requirements. The rollout covered Bandaranaike International Airport and Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport as primary sites, and extended to Colombo International Airport Ratmalana, Batticaloa International Airport and Jaffna International Airport, centralizing transactional and operational data across these locations. Inivos served as the implementation partner coordinating deployment activities with IFS and local stakeholders to align solution configuration and cutover sequencing across multiple airport sites. Governance centered on a single integrated data model and centralized process visibility to standardize workflows across finance, supply chain, maintenance and HR/payroll functions. The program aimed to deliver a quick and efficient project rollout and to enable process improvements and enhanced efficiencies while providing complete process visibility in real time and improved information accuracy across AASL operations.
