In 2011 Bank of Baroda implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its core ERP Financial platform, initiating a program to adopt more modern business processes and technology across the institution. The bank, the sixth largest in India, positioned the Oracle E-Business Suite deployment to centralize finance, customer relationship, and human resources processing while improving process standardization and productivity.
The implementation emphasized Oracle E-Business Suite modules including General Ledger, CRM and HRMS, and incorporated HRMS-specific subcomponents referenced in project artifacts such as EPMS, AP/AR payroll interfacing and an Appraisals System. Configuration work focused on core financial control and accounting flows within General Ledger, customer lifecycle workflows in CRM, and automated appraisal and performance workflows within HRMS, aligning application configuration with established banking process requirements.
The project was executed on site at Bank of Baroda locations including Vadodara, Gujarat, and the deployment model reflected enterprise application provisioning for banking business functions rather than a point solution. Oracle E-Business Suite served as the transactional and recordkeeping backbone for finance, customer service, and HR departments, enabling integrated operational coverage across those business functions.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise acted as the systems integrator for the program, and on-the-ground delivery included senior applications technical consulting and technical lead support provided by Oratalents Solutions and Services in partnership with HP. Governance emphasized configuration controls, on-site technical leadership, and process alignment workshops to embed standard ERP Financial workflows into Bank of Baroda operations.

In 2012, Bank of Baroda implemented Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS as a Core HR application. The 2012 deployment established Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS as the bank's primary human resources system while subsequent procurement documentation described a program to consolidate separate HRMS and payroll capabilities and to integrate the bank's in-house performance management system GEMS.
Implementation scope centered on core HR master data and employee lifecycle management, with configuration work addressing organizational management, position control, employee records, absence and leave administration, and payroll processing workflows. Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS was configured to provide standard Core HR functionality and to expose integration points for payroll and performance management modules.
Architecture planning targeted a cloud hybrid deployment model to unify HRMS, Payroll and PMS, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise was engaged as the system integrator for supply, implementation and maintenance. The integration plan explicitly called for replacing the separate payroll product Fluous and for interfacing Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS with the bank's in-house GEMS performance management tool as part of the consolidated solution.
Governance and rollout planning emphasized centralization of HR master data, role based access control, and coordinated change management between HR operations and IT. Program documentation assigned maintenance and support responsibilities to Hewlett Packard Enterprise and required phased orchestration between HR, payroll and performance management stakeholders as the bank moved toward the cloud hybrid integrated environment.

In 2014, Bank of Baroda implemented Infosys Finacle as its Core Banking solution, replacing Sopra Thaler CBS. The move followed a competitive partner identification process and positioned Infosys Finacle as the central technology platform for a global, technology-focused business transformation program led by Infosys.
The deployment established a centralized and cohesive platform intended to support rapid product introduction, orchestrated operations, increased scalability and flexibility across international operations. Implementation emphasized Core Banking capabilities typical of universal banking platforms, including account processing, deposit and lending servicing, payments and transaction processing, and product management workflows delivered through the Infosys Finacle universal banking solution.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise was engaged as the SI/VAR to provide infrastructure and systems integration support for the rollout and operations. Governance and rollout planning focused on standardizing operations and product lifecycle processes bank-wide, with Finacle assuring reductions in governance hassles and lower operating costs as part of the transformation outcomes.
