In 2015 Bank of Guyana implemented Infor SunSystems as its ERP Financial platform, centralizing core finance operations within its banking environment. The deployment targeted the finance and treasury organization, aligning accounting, statutory reporting and financial control functions under Infor SunSystems.
The Infor SunSystems implementation included standard ERP Financial modules such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash and bank management, fixed assets and financial reporting. Configuration work emphasized chart of accounts rationalization, period close automation and role based access to support accounting workflows and auditability.
Savannah Computing served as the systems integrator and led configuration, testing, training and phased rollout activities across the finance team. The project aligns with sector usage patterns where Infor SunSystems is used extensively in the Financial Services industry such as Bank of Guyana, Sagicor Financial Corporation and Salix Finance, and governance changes focused on standardizing financial processes and control documentation during deployment.
