Configuration and automation work included development of an Application Engine program to encrypt Employee JOB Data and persist it in custom records, fixes to PeopleCode related to the AddAttachment() function used for resume uploads in Talent Acquisition Management, and creation of a new SETUP HRMS page to remap JOBCODES to client specific codes. The team built generic email notification templates that sent messages to retired and terminated employees with encrypted hyperlink payloads for survey completion, executed delivered Application Engine processes for data conversion between versions, and produced BI Publisher XML reports to generate PDF outputs.
Integrations were oriented to outbound file exchange with third party systems, including a new delegate transaction for performance review tracking that generated a daily outbound interface with delegate details. An SQR program produced period-based employee export files, which were encrypted and transmitted to a third party where the employee records were used as key records for ADP. The JOBCODE remapping page also fed an outbound interface to external systems as part of the operational integration layer.
Governance and operational controls included creation of new pages, permission lists and roles registered in the PeopleSoft portal, ongoing maintenance of user security via user profiles roles and permission lists, and guidance of QA in defining test conditions and scenarios. The project coordinated system integration testing and user acceptance testing with issue resolution workflows, and relied on PeopleSoft tooling such as Application Designer, PeopleCode, Process Scheduler, PS Query, Application Engine, SQL Developer, PL/SQL, Toad, SQRs, Crystal Reports and Unix for development and operations.
