AARP Non Profit 2300 $1.9B United States Oracle Oracle Peoplesoft Benefits Administration Benefits Administration 2009 n/a
In 2009, AARP implemented Oracle Peoplesoft Benefits Administration. The implementation encompassed configuration, development, conversion, customization, upgrade, security and support across HR, Benefits, Payroll, Time and Labor, ESS, MSS, ePerformance and eCompensation for AARP operations in Washington, DC. The Oracle Peoplesoft Benefits Administration deployment included extensive module customization, notably customization of the eCompensation module and modification of eCompensation MSS transactions. Teams developed and maintained PeopleCode, pages and components, and built approval workflows using AWE, along with Application Engine, SQR and SQC programs to support annual open enrollment and automated transfer of employee leave balances when employees moved between companies. Integration work centered on Integration Broker service operations, configuring and extending JOB, PERSON_BASIC_SYNC and POSITION_SYNC to orchestrate data exchange between PeopleSoft HCM, FSCM, ELM and the Portal. APIs and file based integrations were developed to connect PeopleSoft HCM with the external recruiting system iCIMS, benefits vendor interfaces were implemented using Application Engines, and component interfaces were created to update reporting relationship transactions on position and job data. Reporting and operational analytics were delivered via BI Publisher, SQR and PS Query. Governance and operational ownership included PS Security administration with responsibility for developing, testing and implementing PeopleSoft HCM security, active day to day production maintenance and issue resolution, and change control for Integration Broker translations such as HR Only department handling for FSCM. Workflow and process restructuring supported custom position request workflows and MSS transaction notifications, combining functional configuration, technical development and ongoing operational support across HR, benefits and payroll business functions, with work documented as continuing from September 2013 to present.

Ally Financial Banking and Financial Services 10700 $8.2B United States Oracle Oracle Peoplesoft Benefits Administration Benefits Administration 2015 n/a
In 2015, Ally Financial implemented Oracle Peoplesoft Benefits Administration within a PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 application landscape, deploying Benefits Administration as the core Benefits Administration capability. The implementation operated on PeopleTools 8.52 and included Workforce Administration, Payroll for NA, Profile Management, Employee and Manager Self Service, and Time and Labor modules to support HR and payroll workflows across the enterprise. Oracle Peoplesoft Benefits Administration was configured with HR and payroll table setups and PS-Query driven reporting, using Process Scheduler for batch processes and standard office tooling for outputs. The team developed and maintained standard and complex queries to support business user decision making, organized query outputs for ease of review, and executed routine data integrity audits of Human Resources and Payroll data as part of ongoing governance. The environment referenced explicit integrations and adjacent systems including ADP Vantage HCM, Workday, and Salesforce, and earlier PeopleSoft 8.9 through 9.0 iterations were part of the application footprint. Operational touchpoints included entering company car information on the ADP Vantage Transfer Panel, managing payroll issues surfaced in Salesforce cases, and using PeopleSoft modules to co-ordinate benefits, time capture, and payroll processing across HR, Payroll, and Customer Service functions. Governance and process changes centered on maintaining HR and payroll table configuration, enforcing data integrity through audits, and operationalizing approval workflows by sending Unapproved Reports to managers to ensure timely approvals. The implementation included sustained operational ownership for garnishment configuration and reconciliation, with eight years of activity dedicated to ensuring garnishments were setup and deducted correctly, and a case management practice for resolving payroll problems and closing Salesforce cases.
