In 2023 Barrio implemented Restaurant365 as its Restaurant Management platform to centralize accounting and operations for the Latin kitchen and agave bar overlooking the San Francisco Bay. The deployment was embedded at launch through RDMS Group, which positioned Restaurant365 as the core operations and financial system supporting accounting, inventory, workforce, payroll, accounts payable, bank reconciliation, and daily performance reporting for the restaurant.
Restaurant365 was configured to leverage its integrated Accounting, Inventory, Workforce, and Payroll capabilities, eliminating manual journal entry and payroll workflows that previously consumed substantial staff time. The implementation emphasized inventory-driven reporting and automated bank and AP reconciliations, producing more timely P&Ls and daily visibility into food cost and labor performance.
Operational coverage linked Barrio’s single-location operations to RDMS Group’s broader managed service model, where Restaurant365 data also enabled a group purchasing organization aggregating purchasing across more than 100 client locations. Integrations focused on consolidating data feeds from multiple bank systems and back-office touchpoints into Restaurant365, enabling unified reporting and streamlined financial close across RDMS-managed restaurant clients.
Governance and process changes centralized financial workflows within Restaurant365, with RDMS reworking close and reporting cadences so client financials move from weeks to daily and near-real-time review. Outcomes recorded in the deployment include condensations of close cycles from multiweek timelines to 24 hours for RDMS clients, and Barrio sustaining a reported 21 percent food cost in recent quarters, supported by the real-time inventory and reporting capabilities of Restaurant365.
