| AdmiralCloud | Legacy | AdmiralCloud DAM | Digital Asset Management | Content Management | dkd Internet Service Germany | 2024 | 2024 |
In 2024 BayWa r.e. integrated AdmiralCloud DAM as the external Digital Asset Management for a Storyblok headless CMS project to give editors direct access to images and videos for the international website and a centralized media hub. The integration focused on a marketing and digital publishing use case, improving editorial workflows and media handling by surfacing rich media inside the CMS editing experience.
The implementation leveraged AdmiralCloud DAM media delivery and asset management capabilities, including a centralized repository, metadata cataloging and an editorial asset browser to support image and video selection inside Storyblok. AdmiralCloud DAM was configured to serve optimized media to the public site and the media hub, aligning asset lifecycle and delivery controls with the CMS publishing pipeline.
dkd Internet Service GmbH acted as the implementation partner, executing the integration between AdmiralCloud DAM and Storyblok and configuring taxonomy, access controls and editorial workflows. Operational coverage spanned web editorial, marketing and PR teams responsible for the international site, with the DAM serving as the primary media source for both web publishing and external media distribution.
Governance changes emphasized standardized metadata schemas and editor access patterns to reduce friction in media retrieval and publication, and rollout prioritized editor enablement within Storyblok and the media hub. AdmiralCloud DAM is referenced throughout the deployment as the canonical asset platform, supporting BayWa r.e. marketing and publishing functions under the Digital Asset Management implementation.
