Datatex Legacy Datatex NOW Cloud ERP Manufacturing ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2024 2024
In 2024, BBV Group implemented Datatex NOW Cloud ERP as part of a technology innovation initiative across its Italian operations. BBV Group, including BBV Tech S.r.l. and Steelflex S.r.l., operates three production plants in Lombardia located in Rodano, Pioltello, and Vignate and manufactures expansion joints using textile fibers, special fabrics, non-woven materials, rubber, steel, and super alloys, with safety and eco friendliness emphasized in production strategy. The implementation centers on Datatex NOW Cloud ERP modules including NOW Costing, NOW Quality assurance, NOW scheduling MQM, and Business Intelligence. The NOW Costing module is configured to calculate both standard and actual costs dynamically for multiple production alternatives, NOW Quality assurance is instrumented to run quality health checks on incoming raw materials and during sequential production steps, NOW scheduling MQM is provisioned to optimize production sequencing and capacity constraints, and Business Intelligence consolidates data from production, quality, planning, and finance for cross-functional analysis. Architecturally the deployment uses the Datatex NOW Cloud ERP platform to provide integrated module workflows and a unified data model that links costing, quality, scheduling, and BI datasets. Operational coverage extends across production, operations, quality control, planning, and finance functions at the three Lombardia sites, with data capture and process control executed at plant level and aggregated to group reporting within the cloud environment. Governance for the rollout emphasizes centralized configuration of cost and quality rules alongside standardized scheduling workflows to ensure consistency across BBV Tech and Steelflex plants. The program is staged to align module activation with plant operations and to embed process controls for quality checks and cost accounting, while Business Intelligence is positioned to support ongoing operational analysis and managerial decision making.
