In 2019, Behler-Young implemented Billtrust AR Automation to modernize accounts receivable and order to cash processes. The Billtrust AR Automation deployment, categorized as AR Automation, was selected to improve order to cash efficiency and streamline invoicing operations. The decision aligned with increasing customer demand for electronic payments and the need for centralized invoice presentment and payment access.
The implementation centered on Billtrust’s automated invoicing solution and a single sign on portal for invoice presentment and payment, enabling customers to view open and closed invoices and to communicate which invoices they are paying with 24/7 access. Functionally the deployment established centralized invoice presentment and payment workflows, automated invoice delivery, and customer self service for payment status, embedding AR Automation into Behler-Young’s accounts receivable and billing operations.

| Infor | Legacy | Infor Distribution A+ | Distribution ERP | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2016 | 2017 |
In 2016, Behler-Young implemented Infor Distribution A+. The deployment focused on Distribution ERP functionality to support the company’s distribution operations, aligning inventory, order processing, purchasing and financial transaction capture for a 135 employee United States distributor.
Behler-Young operated Infor A+ ERP for transactional systems while IBM Cognos served as the business intelligence tool. Without a resident Cognos expert, every report had to be manually built by a developer, and reports were delivered as Excel spreadsheets or PDF documents, which constrained ad-hoc analysis and self-service reporting across finance and sales.
The implementation therefore created a clear separation between transaction capture in Infor Distribution A+ and enterprise reporting, exposing governance and workflow friction where report creation remained a developer-driven task rather than a business-user capability. Data and reporting were an ongoing challenge for Behler-Young, limiting the ability of business functions to interrogate live transactional data and iterate operational workflows.

In 2021, Behler-Young implemented Microsoft 365 for Collaboration. The deployment was scoped to support the company’s 135 employees in the distribution industry in the United States, with a primary focus on standardizing internal communications and document workflows across core business functions.
The Microsoft 365 implementation centers on Collaboration capabilities typical of the platform, including Exchange Online for corporate email, Microsoft Teams for chat and meetings, SharePoint Online for intranet and shared document libraries, and OneDrive for individual file sync. Configuration activities included tenant provisioning, user and group provisioning, mailbox setup, SharePoint site collection design, Teams governance templates, and storage and sharing policy definitions.
Operational coverage extends across sales, operations, finance and field teams, providing unified communication, cloud file access, and centralized collaboration controls. Public site source evidence indicates Behler-Young references Microsoft 365 artifacts on their website, aligning external web presence with the internal Collaboration deployment.
Governance and rollout emphasized centralized tenant administration, role based admin segregation, conditional access and basic security hygiene, and phased user onboarding with policy driven external sharing controls and account lifecycle management. The implementation reads as a platform level adoption of Microsoft 365 to consolidate communication and content collaboration across the organization.
