Informatica Legacy Informatica Product 360 Product Information Management eCommerce n/a 2020 2020
In 2020, Beter Bed implemented Informatica Product 360 as its Product Information Management platform to centralize product master data and establish a controlled product and customer domain architecture. The implementation established a single Product Information Management repository for product attributes, taxonomy, variant and SKU management, and structured enrichment workflows to support merchandising and catalog processes. Configuration work focused on designing canonical product data models, attribute and taxonomy frameworks, data quality rules and validation, and onboarding workflows for suppliers and internal content teams. Informatica Product 360 was configured to support typical PIM capabilities including attribute governance, bulk import and export, catalog syndication, and staged enrichment pipelines to ensure authoritative product records. The technical architecture was defined to accommodate cloud, on premise and hybrid deployment models, with explicit design for API based distribution and synchronization patterns to downstream commerce and operational systems. Governance work included defining data stewardship roles, approval workflows, and operational processes for ongoing master data maintenance, supported by the implemented Informatica Product 360 configuration. The program scope and architecture design emphasized enterprise data architecture principles and domain level governance to operationalize Product Information Management for Beter Bed.
