IFS Legacy IFS BOLO (formerly P2 BOLO) Oil Gas and Chemicals ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2013 2013
In 2013 Beusa Energy implemented IFS BOLO formerly P2 BOLO as its Oil Gas and Chemicals ERP to centralize purchasing, accounts payable, and production revenue posting. The implementation positioned IFS BOLO formerly P2 BOLO as the core transactional system supporting corporate purchasing and production accounting workflows across corporate procurement and field operations. Configuration work focused on purchase order import and catalog management, vendor selection and approval workflows, Master Service Agreement review, request for quote processing, and insurance certificate validation before invoice posting. The deployment explicitly used a ProcureIt procure to pay feed to import purchase orders into Bolo Accounts Payable, and it leveraged the Bolo Revenue module for upload of production reporting and revenue data. Operational integrations included imports from Merrick ProCount and report generation via Merrick Carte for oil run tickets and third party integrated volume statements, with daily and monthly production allocations run through the BOLO revenue processing chain. The implementation covered Purchasing, Production, and Field personnel workflows, with direct liaison between corporate purchasing and field staff to capture AFE project requirements and vendor bid detail. Governance changes established structured approval gates for AFE documents, RFQ evaluation, vendor qualification, and invoice posting into Bolo Accounts Payable, while production teams were mentored on allocation methodology and revenue uploads. As recorded by internal procurement leadership, competitive sourcing and scope changes originating from the integrated workflow led to a documented cost savings of 1.5M in routine maintenance across approximately 30 wells.

IFS Legacy IFS Merrick – Carte (formerly P2 Carte) Analytics and BI Analytics and BI n/a 2013 2013
In 2013, Beusa Energy implemented IFS Merrick Carte (formerly P2 Carte) as an Analytics and BI application to centralize production reporting and revenue workflow reporting. IFS Merrick Carte was positioned to support production allocations, reporting, and data ingestion tasks used by production and operations staff across company wells and field teams. The implementation focused on configuring the Merrick ProCount database and Carte reporting layer to accept third party integrated volume statements and oil run ticket entries, and to run daily and monthly production allocations. Functional capabilities implemented included production allocations, report generation, and scheduled report exports, with Carte used to create audit and allocation reports for downstream revenue processing. Integrations were implemented explicitly with the Bolo environment, reports generated in IFS Merrick Carte were uploaded to the Bolo Revenue module, and finance posting workflows interfaced with Bolo Accounts Payable where applicable. Procurement and purchasing activity at Beusa Energy continued to leverage Verian ProcureIt for purchase order catalog management and vendor approvals, with ProcureIt outputs and certificates coordinated with accounts payable posting workflows into Bolo. Operational ownership rested with the production department and corporate purchasing leadership, who coordinated with field personnel to define bid and AFE requirements, allocation methodology, and production facilities hierarchy. Governance included mentorship and process ownership by the corporate purchasing manager, who also used Merrick Carte reporting for analysis and to support vendor selection and scope coordination, and who documented procurement changes that produced an explicitly stated 1.5M cost savings in routine well maintenance.
