Integrations were established with SAP and PeopleSoft for GL and ERP posting, reconciliations with Concur employee expenses for expense invoice routing, and connections to the vendor master file and payment processing systems to ensure data consistency and payment orchestration. Integrations leveraged OnBase content services and API or connector based patterns to push validated invoice and vendor data into downstream systems.
Governance changes centralized vendor master file stewardship within finance, standardized invoice approval workflows and exception resolution procedures, and created reconciled handoffs between AP, treasury and payroll related to unclaimed funds. The rollout was oriented to unify AP operations and enforce consistent controls across Big Lots Stores finance functions.
