The implementation emphasized storage clustering and virtualization consolidation to increase platform resilience, and included operational management capabilities associated with Workplace & Communications MSP to stabilize user and systems connectivity. The managed-services engagement scoped infrastructure and networking across Birmingham Airport's IT operations, improving operational visibility and reducing downtime during and after the migration. The engagement increased the organisation's security posture as reported in project communications, and shifted ongoing infrastructure lifecycle and monitoring responsibilities into the SCC Managed Services operating model to sustain resilience and serviceability.
