In 2022 Bit Online implemented Gomag Platform as its public storefront, deploying the Gomag Platform to run core online sales on www.bitonline.ro within an eCommerce context. The implementation reflects a small distribution operator with 10 employees using Gomag Platform to centralize product presentation and customer checkout on its website. This establishes the relationship Bit Online Gomag Platform eCommerce for online sales and order capture functions.
The configuration focused on standard eCommerce capabilities delivered by the Gomag Platform, including product catalog management, storefront theming, shopping cart and checkout workflows, basic inventory controls, order management, and promotional pricing and SEO tooling. Catalog and storefront configuration were provisioned through the Gomag Platform administrative interface, with templates and content management used to publish product listings and marketing pages. Automation of order status and catalog updates follows typical platform-managed workflows for small merchants.
Operational integration is limited to the website layer and internal business functions, with the Gomag Platform serving as the single platform for online catalog, customer shopping sessions, and order records. External integrations are implemented in generic form as payment gateway connectivity, shipping label or carrier interfaces, and analytics instrumentation where needed, all coordinated through the platform interface rather than bespoke middleware. The deployment supports sales, fulfillment coordination, and customer service workflows managed by Bit Online staff.
Governance and rollout used a site-centric approach, activating catalog and checkout first and iterating storefront content thereafter, with administrative ownership kept within the small internal team. Role based access in the Gomag Platform was used to separate product management from order processing duties, and ongoing content updates are performed through the platform control panel rather than separate systems.
