Implementation artifacts and configuration leveraged Navision-era capabilities aligned with the Navision 2013R2 and 2016 feature set, and included payroll interfacing and reporting workflows to support finance and HR payroll processes.
The environment was provisioned on a Windows Server infrastructure using Active Directory for authentication and Terminal Services for remote access, with virtualized mail services such as SMTP, POP3 and IMAP and explicit assignment of user nodes and rights. Operational scope covered back-office finance, sales order processing and distribution nodes within the India manufacturing site, and the implementation picture included inventory staging and CFA marketing unit sales workflow automation.
Governance and operationalization emphasized AD group policy configuration, allocation and protection of user rights, scheduled review meetings and disaster recovery drill planning, with helpdesk integration for incident escalation and support turnaround tracking. Implementation records note ongoing service uptime and stabilization activities for critical applications following go-live.
