In 2024, Booking.Com Netherlands implemented Crem Solutions Spacewell IWMS at its new Amsterdam campus to centralize Facility Management across a 65,000 m² site. The deployment focused on facility and workplace management functions, organizing maintenance, asset and vendor workflows for hard services including HVAC, electrical and plumbing.
Implementation used Spacewell Workplace, described by the vendor as an IWMS, with explicit use of the Workplace and Maintenance modules to capture asset inventories, schedule preventive work, and record maintenance activities. Configuration emphasized service request routing, work order lifecycle management, and structured asset hierarchies consistent with Facility Management operational terminology.
The Crem Solutions Spacewell IWMS was integrated with ServiceNow to align facilities tickets with IT and enterprise service workflows, enabling handoffs between workplace teams and centralized service management. Operational coverage was concentrated on the Amsterdam campus facilities and workplace teams, with vendor and contractor interactions instrumented through the IWMS.
Governance and process changes included formalized vendor SLA tracking, standardized work order approvals, and a governance model to move from reactive to data driven maintenance planning. Rollout was executed as a campus level programmatic deployment focused on centralizing maintenance and vendor workflows.
Outcomes reported in the vendor case study include improved visibility into assets and maintenance activity, vendor SLA tracking, and a shift from reactive to data driven maintenance at the Amsterdam site. These outcomes were tied directly to the use of the Workplace and Maintenance modules within Crem Solutions Spacewell IWMS.
