In 2023, Bosch Rexroth integrated SAP Signavio Process Governance as part of an SAP Signavio deployment in the Analytics and BI category to connect process lifecycle governance with its application landscape and to support a major SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition transformation in Germany. The program prioritized business IT alignment across end to end processes and applications, coordinating process design, approval, and deployment activities for the S/4HANA initiative.
The implementation configured SAP Signavio Process Governance to formalize process lifecycle management, approval orchestration, and governance traceability. Configuration work emphasized rule based approval workflows, automated routing, and version control for process artifacts to accelerate and standardize design approvals.
Integration efforts linked SAP Signavio to Bosch Rexroth’s application landscape including SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition so that process definitions drove solution configuration and deployment sequencing. Operational coverage targeted cross functional business and IT teams in Germany who were responsible for process design, change control, and release coordination during the transformation.
Governance and rollout instituted centralized process ownership, standardized approval gates, and automated decision workflows to reduce manual handoffs. According to the customer story, the deployment produced faster approvals with reported savings of more than 5 days in design approval time and automated approximately 89 percent of new process design approvals through SAP Signavio Process Governance.
