Microsoft Legacy Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP Financial ERP Xpedition 2021 2022
In 2021 Bradshaw Taylor deployed Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as its ERP Financial platform to consolidate nine global brands onto a single cloud solution. The initiative targeted a distribution and outdoor fashion operating model spanning the UK, Europe, USA and Canada, addressing previously disparate and unconnected brand systems that required manual financial consolidation and fragmented order flows. The implementation configured Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for core ERP functionality including finance, sales, purchasing, warehousing and reporting, with manufacturing capability planned for a later phase. Bradshaw Taylor adopted an out of the box approach where possible and layered the K3|pebblestone fashion solution to provide configurable style, colour and size matrix handling that maps to fashion merchandising workflows. Architecture centered on a fit for purpose Cloud Data Platform underpinned by Azure, with Azure Synapse used to aggregate Business Central as the primary transactional data source. Power BI was implemented as the reporting and analytics layer to accelerate data maturity, while Xpedition delivered an integration framework to connect Business Central to Magento 2 for ecommerce and to third party logistics providers so online orders flow through to delivery and fulfilment. Xpedition led a templated rollout and business management solution for fashion that prioritized rapid brand onboarding and minimal bespoke customization, enabling faster time to market for newly acquired brands. Governance emphasized standardised financial processes and a single source of truth for finance synergy and global brand integration, reengineering business workflows to support a lean, end to end outdoor fashion operating model. Explicit outcomes reported include reduced customer service queries, speed of implementation across nine brands onto a single cloud platform, improved finance synergy and an accelerated data maturity journey supported by Azure and Power BI. The deployment positioned Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as the central ERP Financial system underpinning Bradshaw Taylor s multi brand cloud environment and retail to fulfilment operational flow.
