In 2015, Brand Castle implemented xTuple ERP as its Manufacturing ERP,Distribution ERP platform to centralize production, distribution, and sales order workflows. The deployment established a single instance of xTuple ERP to manage product master data, inventory control, purchasing, sales order processing, and core manufacturing bill of materials and MRP workflows.
Configuration work emphasized product specification management and catalog publication, with the xTuple ERP application configured to produce operational reports and formatted product data for sales collateral. Functional capabilities implemented include inventory and warehouse management, order-to-cash processing, purchase-to-pay controls, basic shop floor and BOM management, and configurable reporting used by the commercial team.
Operational coverage spanned sales, customer service, and supply chain teams, with sales coordinators using xTuple ERP to pull specs and product information and to handle sample requests and customer-specific presentations. The system supported broker network onboarding and account-specific sales workflows, including direct use in managing a Top 10 customer relationship with William Sonoma.
Governance and rollout were centered on commercial process changes, with sales-led adoption and report-driven product data distribution to brokers and clients.
