In 2013, Brentwood Bank implemented Finastra Phoenix EFE as its Core Banking platform. The deployment positioned Finastra Phoenix EFE as an integrated enterprise software platform combining real-time core processing with a suite of specialized applications to span the bank's operational footprint.
The implementation included PhoenixEFE Core alongside numerous integrated solutions purchased as part of the same program, including the LaserPro suite for compliant loan documents, CreditQuest for commercial loan risk management, Touché Analyzer for business intelligence, the Cavion suite covering Internet banking, business banking, mobile banking and voice banking, ActiveView Content Management, Item Processing Services, FMS financial accounting software, uBanking for online account opening and funding, and card payments solutions. These components were configured to work with the PhoenixEFE Core to provide end to end processing for deposits, lending, payments and deposit channel services.
Operationally the project unified real-time core processing with front office digital channels, credit risk workflows, back office item processing and general ledger accounting, creating a single-platform record of account and transactional flow. The implementation narrative describes an enterprise scope that consolidates core processing and specialized applications, enabling consistent loan documentation workflows, commercial credit decisioning support, BI driven analysis and omnichannel customer access.
Governance and rollout emphasized central configuration of core processing parameters and coordinated orchestration of the purchased modules to manage functional handoffs between channels, risk management and finance. The architecture reflects a platform approach where Finastra Phoenix EFE operates as the central processing hub with modular capabilities integrated to support lending, payments, accounts processing and digital banking operations.
