In 2018 Buffalo Wild Wings implemented Oracle Cloud ERP as its ERP Financial platform. The implementation included Oracle Cloud Core HCM, Financials, Procurement and Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher BIP modules to centralize HR and finance operations across the United States. The project scope covered data modeling and mapping from MS Great Plains to Oracle Cloud ERP for conversions and interfaces, including conversions of Employees, Work Structures, Employee Bank Accounts, Suppliers, GL Journal Balances, GL Journal Lines, Customers, Open AP Invoices, Open AR Invoices and Fixed Assets. Payment and treasury interfaces were implemented for Check, ACH, Wire and Positive Pay bank integrations. An onshore technical lead guided the Fusion implementation and owned end to end activities from requirement gathering through design, development and testing. Implementation governance included coordination between the client, onsite functional teams and offshore development teams, guiding offshore developers and reviewing and testing deliverables to ensure quality. The functional footprint affected finance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, procurement and HR processes. Architecture and integration work focused on data conversion pipelines, interfaces to banking systems and configuration of Oracle Cloud Financials and Core HCM to align master data and transactional flows. Operational control emphasized conversion validation, report rationalization for BIP and OTBI and structured testing cycles with iterative defect remediation.
