Frappe Legacy ERPNext ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2020 2020
In 2020, Builtamart implemented ERPNext to centralize their ERP Financial operations, selecting the ERPNext application from vendor Frappe for web based accounting and transaction management. The deployment targeted Builtamart as an online grocery startup in the Philippines and was positioned to move accounting off spreadsheets and paper into a multi user, cloud accessible system. The implementation covered core financial and commerce adjacent modules, including accounting, purchase management, inventory management, and fast order entry, with ERPNext configured to support order to cash and procure to pay workflows. ERPNext was used as a customizable platform, with configuration and education emphasized to adapt form designs, transaction entry flows, and inventory controls to Builtamart operational needs. Tasker Systems provided the implementation and ongoing partner support, applying partner led configuration, issue remediation, and user training to drive adoption. The rollout focused on operational departments such as finance, purchasing, inventory and ops, using ERPNext as the single system of record for transactional processing and multi site user access. Governance and process change accompanied the technical deployment, with Tasker and Builtamart iterating on customizations and operational procedures when users raised issues, reinforcing the principle that software and people must be aligned. The result reported in partner accounts was day to day adoption by employees and expanded use of ERPNext beyond initial accounting into purchasing and inventory, reflecting progressive platform adoption rather than a single cutover event.
