The project delivered configuration and custom reporting work across core JD Edwards tables, including receipts and receipt detail extracts that surface tax information and account data from F0901. Functional specifications and report development included Receipt Tax Invoice for Thailand, projection and depreciation calculations from F1202 for fixed assets, Sales invoice RTF formatting, and Sales Order Extraction that included Media Object Text. Tax-specific builds included WHT for Thailand based on Object Account feeds into Excel BI, AR VAT for Thailand based on Account extracts in Excel BI, and SST for Malaysia leveraging JD Edwards files F03B11, F03B13 and F03B14.
Operational scope and integration points focused on JD Edwards data files and reporting exports, with Excel BI used as a reporting data artifact for several tax reports. The team created company, business unit and account master records, applied vocabulary override and user profile language settings for multi language support, and executed VO changes for a custom French language application. Deliverables included functional specs, unit test plan scripts and a user manual specifically prepared for the Thailand rollout, and the team engaged the client through daily team meetings to drive configuration decisions.
The engagement noted an existing HR footprint running SAP HCM (HR) in the environment, while financial system governance was addressed through documented functional specifications, test scripts and user documentation.
