Oracle Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise Oracle NetSuite ERP ERP Financial ERP n/a 2020 2020
In 2020, Button, Inc implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP, deploying an ERP Financial application across its finance organization. The 130 employee professional services firm replaced Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise and completed design, testing, implementation, and go live in a two month program. The deployment centered on core financial management capabilities typical of an ERP Financial system, including general ledger consolidation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing and revenue management, and financial reporting configuration tailored to professional services billing cycles. Configuration work emphasized chart of accounts redesign, accounting period controls, and billing rules to support project based revenue flows. Operational scope focused on finance and accounting functions, consolidating transactional accounting and billing for the business. The change centralized financial processes for corporate finance and project billing functions to provide a single source of transactional finance data. The rollout followed an accelerated timetable that compressed design, testing, and cutover activities into two months, requiring condensed testing cycles, scripted cutover procedures, and immediate post go live stabilization. Oracle NetSuite ERP was brought live at the conclusion of the two month program.
