In 2025 Suitsupply implemented Manhattan Active Point of Sale as part of an RFID-enabled program to improve inventory accuracy and omnichannel fulfillment. The deployment is anchored in the Point Of Sale category and extends across manufacturing, warehouses and the retailer's 150 stores globally, with Suitsupply headquartered in the Netherlands. The implementation was part of an end-to-end RFID integration covering item tagging at source through point-of-sale scanning to enable real-time inventory visibility.
Manhattan Active Point of Sale is used alongside Manhattan's Store app to unify Order Management, Store Order Fulfillment and Inventory Management into a single operational surface. Configuration included RFID tag resolution, unique product code mapping to customer orders, and inventory state controls that distinguish altered items awaiting pickup from sellable stock. Functionality implemented includes automated receiving, cycle counting workflows, and store-level scanning interfaces to support replenishment and ship-from-store operations.
Operational architecture uses overhead and handheld RFID scanners to capture inventory reads that feed into the Store app and Manhattan Active Point of Sale in near real time. Daily store workflows require associates to perform a full scan, the system prevents submission until counts reach a 98 percent accuracy threshold, and the scanner guides associates to unaccounted items. This integration links item level RFID reads to order state so Suitsupply can identify whether a product is sold, awaiting pickup, or available for sale.
Governance and process changes centralized inventory reconciliation in the Store app, shifting cycle counting and receiving to automated scans and creating audit controls at the point of sale. Store associate responsibilities moved from manual counting toward exception resolution and customer engagement, driven by the enforced accuracy threshold and scanner assisted locating. Reported outcomes include average inventory accuracy improving to 99 percent and faster replenishment and omnichannel fulfillment capabilities that support improved customer experience.
