FIS Global Legacy FIS Integrated Payables AP Automation ERP Financial Management n/a 2018 2018
In 2018, Cabot implemented FIS Integrated Payables to centralize AP Automation workflows across its finance organization. FIS Integrated Payables was deployed as the core AP Automation application to standardize accounts payable processing, invoice intake, approval workflows, and payment orchestration. Originally configured as a Private Cloud deployment, the implementation later transitioned onto FIS's multi-tenant Integrity SaaS platform to reduce maintenance effort and enable automatic upgrades. The deployment architecture moved the FIS Integrated Payables runtime into a shared SaaS tenancy, and operational ownership was transferred to SaaS Support following rollout. Configuration focused on AP Automation functional capabilities common to the category, including invoice capture and validation, workflow routing for approvals, exception management and dispute handling, and payment scheduling and orchestration. These modules were configured to align with corporate finance and accounts payable processes and to enforce workflow controls for invoice to payment processing. Go-live occurred on October 14, 2019 and the environment was handed over to SaaS Support on December 11, 2019, marking the completion of the production rollout. As reported, the move to the multi-tenant Integrity SaaS platform delivered reduced maintenance effort and automatic upgrades for the FIS Integrated Payables environment.
