In 2019, Cadalog integrated the Iray+ SDK, based on NVIDIA Iray, into its ProWalker plugin for SketchUp to deliver photorealistic rendering and fly through animations for architectural and interior design visualization in the United States. The work embedded NVIDIA Iray rendering into Cadalog’s product workflow and extended the company’s 3D Modeling capabilities for customer facing visualization in professional services contexts.
The implementation focused on physically based rendering and material workflows, introducing MDL based materials and improved photorealistic light and shadow distribution within the ProWalker plugin. Integration architecture centered on the Iray+ SDK integration with SketchUp via the ProWalker plugin, enabling rendered fly through animation output and higher fidelity stills for architects and interior designers, and positioning NVIDIA Iray as the rendering engine driving Cadalog’s 3D Modeling visualization features.
