Functional capabilities emphasized centralized reporting and analytics ingestion from POS and ERP sources, while the implementation included mobile POS device configuration and ongoing support for POS transaction telemetry. Integrations and operational coverage tied Epicor Compass to point of sale systems and Epicor Eagle ERP application updates, and extended into the store network stack including switches, wireless access points and firewalls. The Manager of Store Technology coordinated third party voice and network builds, validated new site configurations during construction, and oversaw subcontractor work through go live, while delivering Level 2 and Level 3 PC and POS support across all locations. Governance centered on server monitoring, firewall and security log review, and maintenance of store level PCI compliance within the Epicor Compass Analytics and BI environment. Processes were formalized for ERP update integration, store specific configuration schematics were maintained for troubleshooting, and hardware lifecycle upgrades were recommended and deployed to sustain POS availability and support new store level processes.
