In 2019 Cambridge Times deployed MPP Global Solutions eSuite on its public website. Cambridge Times implemented MPP Global Solutions eSuite as its Subscription and Recurring Billing solution to address digital subscriber billing and revenue operations for the media publisher.
The implementation configured core Subscription and Recurring Billing capabilities typical of the category, including subscription lifecycle management, recurring invoicing, payment scheduling, pricing tier and plan configuration, proration handling, and a customer-facing subscription account experience. MPP Global Solutions eSuite was provisioned to manage subscriber records, invoice generation, and automated billing cycles in line with recurring revenue workflows.
Deployment was embedded directly into the Cambridge Times website, powering checkout and subscriber account flows on the newsroom site. The eSuite instance was operated as the front-line billing engine for online subscriptions and was integrated into the site presentation layer to surface subscription status, billing history, and self-service controls to end users.
Operational governance centered on centralizing billing administration within the publisher’s digital subscriptions and customer support functions, with configuration controls for plan changes, cancellations, and billing policies. Rollout focused on aligning editorial subscription offerings with configured product plans and establishing recurring billing process ownership across revenue operations and support teams.
