| Sterling Talent Solutions | Legacy | Sterling Background Check | BackGround Screening | HCM | n/a | 2019 | 2019 |
In 2019, Camden Property Trust implemented Sterling Background Check as part of a broader Oracle HCM Cloud recruiting and onboarding program. The Sterling Background Check application was positioned within the BackGround Screening category and integrated into the Taleo (Oracle Talent Acquisition Cloud) recruiting architecture that Camden used for talent acquisition.
As Recruiting and Onboarding Lead and Taleo architect the project collected requirements and configured Taleo recruiting, onboarding, and social sourcing modules, and it specified the conversion strategy for candidate data. Out of the box Oracle HCM integrations were enabled, and custom Taleo Connect Client (TCC) scripting was written to bring recruiting data from Ultipro recruiting into Taleo to preserve candidate history and status transitions.
Passport integrations were configured to connect Sterling Background Check and Infor Assessments into the applicant screening and pre hire assessment flow, enabling background checks and assessment results to be orchestrated from Taleo workflows and surfaced on candidate records. The implementation centered on recruiting and onboarding business functions, aligning screening, assessment, and hiring workflows within Camden Property Trust.
The engagement included specification of conversion strategy, facilitation of system integration testing and user acceptance testing, and coordinated defect logging and resolution to stabilize screening and onboarding processes prior to go live. The work reflects an architect led integration of Sterling Background Check into the BackGround Screening and talent acquisition stack.

In 2005, Camden Property Trust implemented RealPage OneSite Leasing & Rents for Lease Management. Camden participated in the original, second, and third versions of YieldStar product review, testing, and pilots, and piloted OneSite Leasing and Rents as part of a broader engagement with RealPage products including OneSite, YieldStar, and CrossFire.
Camden’s responsibilities during the project included comprehensive data scrub activities, data transfer and conversion tasks, end to end testing, and training and implementation of OneSite Portfolio. The program included redesign and testing of OneSite Leasing and Rents reports, and business process redesign tied to lease administration, rent processing workflows, and portfolio reporting.
Operational coverage was property operations and the centralized Business Support Center, with a pilot covering five properties and ongoing monitoring of financial results from MPF and YieldStar processes. Camden conducted weekly meetings with the software vendor for status updates and next steps, and provided second level support for the Business Support Center across all RealPage products.
Governance elements centered on coordinated conversion planning, iterative testing cycles, and role based training for property and support teams, while Camden participated in the product design feedback loops with RealPage. The engagement emphasized process redesign, report standardization, and operational handoffs between onsite property staff and the Business Support Center for sustained Lease Management operations.
