SAP Legacy SAP ERP ECC 6.0 ERP Financial ERP n/a 2009 2010
In 2009, Camelot Group implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to provide core ERP Financial capabilities across its finance organization. SAP ERP ECC 6.0 was deployed to support statutory accounting, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and asset accounting workflows consistent with ERP Financial functional expectations. The implementation was integrated into a multi-component SAP landscape that included CRM 7.0, Enterprise Portal 7.01, BI 7.01, PI 7.00 and Solution Manager 7.0 and 7.1. The technical stack ran on DB2 10 with AIX operating systems on IBM 6 and 7 series servers, and production systems used high availability clustered virtual partitions to support uptime and resilience. Ongoing SAP Basis and technical operations for SAP ERP ECC 6.0 included system upgrades and migrations, for example an upgrade path through enhancement packages and a Unicode conversion of the SAP ERP 6.0 stack. Technical activities documented for the landscape included homogeneous system copy migrations for ECC, BW and Enterprise Portal systems, PI dual stack migration with backup and restore, PI integration builder and SLD configuration, Solution Manager support stack application and diagnostic agent installations. Operational governance combined centralized transport management with workflow approval, SAPGUI rollout and change management, AIX LDAP configuration and mapping, SAP landscape hardware capacity planning and archive integration work such as Open Text scanning workstation installations. The deployment therefore touched IT operations and finance business functions, with the SAP technical team providing BAU and project support across the Camelot Group SAP estate.

Workable Legacy Workable ATS Applicant Tracking System HCM n/a 2021 2021
In 2021, Camelot Group implemented Workable ATS as its Applicant Tracking System and embedded the Workable careers widget on its public website. The deployment targeted the central recruiting function supporting corporate and hospitality hiring across the United Kingdom, positioning Workable ATS as the primary system of record for candidate intake and tracking. Configuration centered on standard Applicant Tracking System capabilities, including job requisition posting, candidate pipeline management, structured evaluation stages, interview scheduling, and offer workflow orchestration. Recruiter and hiring manager interfaces were configured to support role based review and candidate scorecards, and automation of candidate status transitions and email communications was instrumented to standardize hiring workflows. Integration work focused on the website careers integration so job postings and application forms submit directly into Workable ATS. Candidate records are ingested via the embedded careers flow into the Workable application where they feed configured pipelines and evaluation workflows, and in application reporting and export functions were provisioned to support HR reporting needs. Governance was implemented through role based permissions, standardized requisition approval steps, and recruitment process templates to enforce hiring policy and auditability. Change management emphasized recruiter training and hiring manager onboarding to ensure consistent use of Workable ATS and the website careers interface, with operational ownership retained by the central HR recruiting team.

SAP Legacy SAP BW (Business Warehouse) Data Warehouse Analytics and BI n/a 2012 2012
In 2012 Camelot Group deployed SAP BW (Business Warehouse) as its Data Warehouse to support forecasting, planning and the optimisation of circa 37,000 lottery terminals across the UK retail estate. The SAP BW implementation centralized transactional and master data needed to forecast yearly events affecting the retail estate, to create business plans for Camelot and third party suppliers, and to provide recurring reporting used for quarterly target reviews. The deployment implemented functional capabilities for capacity and terminal optimisation, forecast modeling, financial reporting and terminal accounting, plus invoice import and reconciliation workflows to manage over half a million pounds a month of engineering invoices. SAP BW versions referenced in operations included SAP BW 3.5 and SAP BW 7, and the environment was used alongside MS Access and advanced MS Excel for analyst feeds and ad hoc reconciliations. Integrations populated the warehouse from SAP transactional sources and from commercial invoicing and logistics documents such as bill of lading and rollout/import plans, with inbound supply data covering imports into the UK from Asia and the USA. The operational scope explicitly covered supplier management, daily supplier performance monitoring, customs paperwork validation and coordination with lottery agents to ensure equipment verification and accountability. Governance and process changes were embedded through SLA maintenance routines, daily supplier management and formal service reviews, with quarterly KPI reviews to surface uncertain probabilities in retail operations. The SAP BW data model served as the authoritative reporting layer for terminal accounting and for monitoring engineering process improvements and cost reduction initiatives noted by the business.
