SAP Legacy SAP ERP ECC 6.0 ERP Financial ERP n/a 2014 2014
In 2014, Cameron International Corporation implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as an ERP Financial application. The initiative was executed as a global SAP upgrade of SAP R/3 to SAP ECC 6.0, engaging North and South American executives, stakeholders, implementation consultants, and business end users to align program governance and rollout sequencing. The deployment prioritized SAP SD business processes while also configuring and supporting SAP MM, PP, FICO, PLM, and SRM, linking sales order to cash, procurement, production planning, financial accounting, product lifecycle, and supplier relationship workflows. Configuration work incorporated business process mapping and localization to support Spanish speaking Super Users and end users. Operational coverage included global sites with focused engagement across North and South America, and the program staffed Spanish language Super User enablement to bridge regional operational needs. User Acceptance Testing was conducted with business end users and Super User cohorts to validate SD scenarios and cross-module integrations before go live. Program governance combined executive stakeholder alignment with hands on training of SAP Super Users and staged UAT signoffs, creating structured knowledge transfer and operational support channels. Ongoing end user training was provided as needed to reinforce process adherence and sustainment for SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as an ERP Financial platform.
