In 2011, Canada Life Ireland implemented FINEOS AdminSuite. FINEOS AdminSuite was deployed as an Insurance ERP to centralize policy administration and transaction processing across Life Assurance, Pensions, Investment and Savings Plans.
The implementation focused on policy administration and financial transaction processing capabilities typical of Insurance ERP platforms, including configuration to manage product-specific workflows for life, pension and investment products. Operational controls emphasized work queue orchestration and SLA-driven processing for tasks such as switches between funds and additional contributions, and the system supported the capture and routing of case information and document-driven activities required for underwriting referrals and medical report requests.
Operational integrations included ongoing data entry and interoperability with Canada Life systems such as Paxus and Fineos as part of daily processing routines, with the FINEOS AdminSuite used to record and manage policy lifecycle events. The deployment covered existing business operations in Dublin and engaged teams responsible for existing business administration, sales intermediary liaison, underwriting referrals and coordination with other internal departments.
Governance and day-to-day operational processes were adapted to the FINEOS AdminSuite environment, with senior administrators responsible for department start-up, queue monitoring and team coordination, and team leaders assisting with work allocation. Processing workflows were explicitly governed to ensure financial transactions were handled within strict timeframes to avoid costs to the company due to market fluctuations.
